Happy Last Week of School Panthers! Wow, what a crazy end to our year! I want to say Thank You all for doing such a great job on out Remote Learning. I know it wasn't the easiest way to do PE but you ROCKED IT! If you haven't had a chance to check out the PE lessons, they will be up all summer. I will also be continuing to add fun activities all summer for you and your family to stay active. I will continue to add a monthly DEAM Calendar. Each month I will be archiving the lessons with a link to the past month. I hope all of you have an AMAZING summer, stay HEALTHY and ACTIVE and I can't wait to see you ALL in the Fall! ![]() The video links below are a selection of wonderful warm-up activities to get your bodies ready for physical activity. Remember that it is important to properly warm your muscles up before doing any physical activity to prevent injury.
StretchingThe video links below are a great selection of stretches that will help your whole body feel flexible and relaxed. Stretching is great to perform in the morning when you get up, after any physical activity or just as a calming activity on its own.
K-2nd Grades Locomotor Movement PracticeLocomotor movements are those that incorporate traveling from one point to another. Locomotor movement examples are: jogging, running, hopping, jumping, skipping, galloping, sliding, marching, crawling and leaping. Below are some links to songs we have used to practice these movements in class.

The selection I chose to read is called JAWS from the book Breezy at Bat by Megan McDonald pictures by Nancy Poydar Since today Friday April 3rd would have been Opening Day for our Colorado Rockies Baseball Team this story is about baseball. Since we can't celebrate baseball in person, I hope you enjoy the story! |
