Because I don't know what art materials you have at home, most of the weekly lessons will involve learning about art concepts, cultural art or art history. If you do have access to drawing materials, even a pen and scratch paper, Draw!! And send me what you have made.
April is Women's History Month!!
Even though its the end of the month we have one more important artist to learn about.

Kindergarten - Third Grades
When the President Obama and the First Lady's portrait was unveiled, many people traveled to go see it. One of the people than went to see it was 2 year old Parker Curry.
Parker was mesmerized by how beautiful Michelle Obama was, thinking she looked like a Queen. A stranger took Parker's picture staring up at the Michelle Obama portrait and it went viral- it was all over the internet, on the news, on facebook and twitter. The videos below tell Parker's amazing story.
Her story was so amazing, that Parker and her mother wrote a book about it.
